Based in The New Forest in the United Kingdom, Jonathan Broomfield (a.k.a Cheesy1) exudes enthusiasm & is a passionate cheese expert with over fifteen years’ experience in the industry.

He is a seasoned professional cheese judge with over 5 years of service at both the International Cheese & Dairy Awards and British Cheese Awards. He has just recently been appointed a UK Ambassador for the International Cheese & Dairy Awards.

He is a former member of the Guild of Cheese Graders where he officially ISO accredited his palate and through the years has also been certified as a butter grader.

Along the way the Cheesy1 has developed a passion for supporting cheesemakers, and their products, by writing about them on the Cheesy1 blog.

This has led to hosting over 30 unique & tailored cheese talks & tastings that are fun & informative where he has received praise across the board for his entertaining presentation style.

He can be booked for your speaking events, bespoke tasting events, judging, cheese grading and more.
